The EHZ 240 energy wood grapple was developed specifically for harvesting energy wood and for initial thinning with a mini excavator.
The main focus of our design was to develop a lightweight and robust cutting head with as few moving parts as possible. Material made of high-strength steel HB400 and HB500 is rather rare in this size class of the EHZ 240 felling grapple. We achieve the outstanding cutting pattern through a counter-blade on the moving main arm. We attach the main blade with offset screws to ensure the highest possible stability and torsional rigidity.

Die Energieholzzange EHZ 240 wurde speziell für die Ernte von Energieholz sowie für die Erstdurchforstung mit einem Minibagger entwickelt.
Das Hauptaugenmerk bei unserer Konstruktion lag darauf, einen leichten und robusten Schneidkopf mit möglichst wenig bewegten Teilen zu entwickeln. Material aus hochfestem Stahl HB400 und HB500 ist in dieser Größenklasse der Fällgreifer EHZ 240 eher selten zu finden. Das überragende Schnittbild erreichen wir durch eine Gegenschneide am bewegten Hauptarm. Das Hauptmesser befestigen wir mit versetzten Schrauben, um möglichst hohe Stabilität und Verwindungssteifigkeit am Messer vorweisen zu können.
