Do you have oversized logs? We have the solution! Our splitting tongs are primarily used for pre-splitting oversized logs. Pre-splitting enables you to achieve the cheapest and fastest possible natural drying of large logs.
This in turn results in the best quality wood chips for further processing. It is also possible to mount them on chipping machines in order to prepare oversized logs for feeding directly during chipping. The splitting tips are made of high-strength steel. The shape of the splitting claws was designed to prevent the splitting material from getting stuck.
With the SPZ 880 splitting tongs you can split even the thickest logs with minimal effort. Safe and comfortable, without any physical exertion! Mounting them on the logging trailer or wood chipper is possible without any problems, alternatively the splitting tongs can be fixed to the ground with the support foot.
